Walter: “Jesse, I am not working you.”

Jesse: “Yes. Yes, you are. All right? Just drop the whole concerned dad thing and tell me the truth. I mean, you’re– you’re acting like me leaving town is– is all about me and turning over a new leaf, but it’s really– it’s really about you.”

Favourite scenes –

Hmm.. Todd telling his uncle and friend about the train heist? Todd, remember you shot a kid because nobody was supposed to know about that heist? And note how he doesn’t mention the kid?

Could they have chosen any more cheery place for this restaurant meeting?

Untitled - 35

I could be wrong and you don’t get much of a chance to see them, but is Marie wearing her shoplifted heels? That would be slightly ironic..

In this moment, when Walt hugs Jesse, you really want to believe he means it, even just for a second.

Snoskred Notes –

Untitled - 164

Aaron Paul won an Emmy for this episode – Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series – and certainly after last week where Jesse said not one single thing, this was like a Jesse explosion, in more ways than one.

Untitled - 29

I like how Todd calls Mr White to tell him about the change in management.

This is an episode of Walt manipulating people – first, Walt Jr. Then, his video confession to manipulate Hank and Marie. Then, working Jesse.

The science of Breaking Bad – Confessions.
