~ Favourites ~
Favourite Hank line – “Officially, Fring’s not a suspect. But I’m telling ya, something deep down says he’s my guy. Just gotta prove it.”
Favourite Marie line – “The other day he had a big pow-wow with all the DEA muckety-mucks”
Favourite Tio line – “My advice…stick to chicken.”
Favourite Gus line – “Is today the day, Hector?”
Favourite Walt line – To hell with your cancer. I’ve been living with cancer for the better part of a year. Right from the start, it’s a death sentence. That’s what they keep telling me. Well, guess what? Every life comes with a death sentence, so every few months I come in here for my regular scan, knowing full well that one of these times – hell, maybe even today – I’m gonna hear some bad news. But until then, who’s in charge? Me. That’s how I live my life.
Favourite Jesse/Walt exchange –
Jesse: So, what if this is like math or algebra? And you add a plus douchebag to a minus douchebag, and you get, like, zero douchebags?
Walter: I’ve got some math for you: Hank catching Gus equals Hank catching us!
Favourite scenes –
The collapsing rail in the wardrobe.
Where the money ends up. And isn’t this sort of creepy looking, like body bags under the house?
Mike pulling up next to Walt and Hank at Los Pollos Hermanos.
And it is fantastic, for a change, to see “Tio” when he was walking, talking, and peeing into pools. Though I love the present day Tio enormously, this was great to see.
Notable Music – “Grandparent’s Polka” by Fritz’s Polka Band (On Youtube) plays at Casa Tranquila when Gus visits Hector.
Ending Song – The Breaking Bad theme composed by Dave Porter
Jesse Lightbulb Moment – Douchebag algebra. Hilarious, but I think he *might* be right..
Notable Shots –
Pee cam. I’m really glad this is the angle they picked! 😉
Watering Can Lady Cam.

Snoskred Notes –
Another slower paced ep which is very necessary for some upcoming episodes. We need the backstory of Gus and the cartel and Don Eladio, etceteras. Several great Gus lines in this episode.

One important Jesse fashion note – the sparkly tee Jesse is wearing in the scene with Walt at Jesse’s house – do a google image search for Xzavier which I believe is the brand of this t-shirt. They often abbreviate the name on the shirts, which is why it just says Xzavr on the back.
