Skyler makes an unsettling discovery. Walter, Jr. pushes his dad into a questionable purchase. Jesse offers Mike some unexpected help.
~ Favourites ~
Favourite Walt Jr line – “I know it looks, well, awesome, but its super safe.”
Favourite Skyler line – “Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family.”
Favourite Tyrus line – “He does.”
Favourite Gus line – “I like to think I see things in people”
Favourite Mike line – “What you may not know about meth heads – maybe you do – they’re kinda unpredictable. I don’t care for unpredictable, so we wait. Sorry to burst your bubble kid, but thats 90% of the job. Don’t worry, I brought sandwiches.”
Favourite Walt line – “I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!”
Favourite Jesse line – “Register this” – flips Walt the bird
Favourite Jesse/Walt exchange –
Walter: “What if this robbery that you stopped wasn’t even real? I mean, think about it. Your first day out guarding Mike, he steps out for one second and what happens? You immediately get robbed.”
Jesse: “You are such an asshole!”
Walter: “Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. Like you said, Gus can’t kill you because of me. He knows that I won’t stand for it. He needs me and he hates the fact that he needs me! So what does he do? He goes to work driving a wedge between you and me!”
Jesse: “You’re an asshole. If you’d been there, you’d know it wasn’t a set-up.”
Walter: “Wait a minute, how long did those guys chase you, huh? ‘Cause the way you describe it, they gave up pretty damn easy. No, no, this whole thing – all of this – it’s all about me.”
Walt paranoia much.. but he is actually right!
Favourite Mike/Jesse Exchange –
Mike: You ok there?
Jesse: I’m fine. Just, not using is..
Mike: Eat something.
Favourite scenes –
Love the time lapse day to night scene.
I love Walt speaking pseudo Spanish to these poor ladies. “Presidente grande, very important man”
Love the cleaners coming down to the lab and Walt sits there drinking coffee while they work, and cheers to the camera.
But my pure unreserved love this episode is for Jesse, Mike, the methheads, and the shovel.
Best Jesse/Methhead exchange –
Methhead – “What are you doing?”
Jesse – “Digging”
Jesse – “Oh, you know why”
Methhead – “How deep are you going?”
Jesse – “I don’t know, how deep do you think it is”
Methhead – “Pretty deep”
Jesse – “Hey, uh, you mind taking over for a minute?” – “Hey, uh, mind if I use your john?”.
A very close second, the cutest baby shot ever.

Snoskred Notes –
Love seeing only the legs of Walt and Jesse. Again this goes back to my recent comments about the trust Breaking Bad places in us the audience – allowing us to just see their legs and feet and hear the dialogue? Not too many shows out there would do that.
Geez. Bogdan. King of holding a grudge, no? I mean, some time has passed since Walt said “Wipe down this” and grabbed his crotch, back in the day. We’re not really sure how much time in the world of Breaking Bad because we do not really get that info, there is no time clock, but it has to be at least 6 months or more just based on the birth of Baby Holly and her present growth. We know for sure it has not been a year because of the Birthday Bacon – it will be a year in Season five episode four – “Fifty-One”
Wow, what a car Walt buys for Walt Jr.
Wow, what a mega beyotch Skyler is about it.
