Untitled - 44

Jesse: “At least now we all understand each other.”

Walter: “What do you mean?”

Jesse: “[about Gus] Him and us. We get it. [makes a motion of slitting his throat] We’re all on the same page.”

Walter: “Now, what page is that?”

Jesse: “The one that says if I can’t kill you, you’ll sure as shit wish you were dead. [chuckles]”

Favourite scenes –

Great teaser, with Gale and his glee at the deliveries.

Untitled - 76

Egads, directions guy. I have been on the other end of phone calls like this, where the person wants to give you every possible little landmark and directions. And of course the alternative, where someone does not even know where they are!

Untitled - 54

The utter coldness of Gus VS the chatty cathyness of Walt.

Untitled - 67

Notable Music – One of my all time favourite Breaking Bad songs – “Truth” by Alexander Ebert (on youtube) plays as Walt walks to get his car and the police examine Gale’s apartment.

Ending Song – The Breaking Bad theme composed by Dave Porter

Jesse Lightbulb Moment – The look on his face as he sees what happens to Victor – Gus sees this, too.

Notable Shots –

Untitled - 78

The box cutter in a happier time.

Untitled - 79

Love this shot of the superlab.

Untitled - 62

And this great shot of Holly – cutest baby ever!

Snoskred Notes –

When Walt starts talking in the lab, he actually sounds more like Mike to me.

Untitled - 66

Hello to a new character – Huell – who is meant to guard Saul, if he can stay awake long enough.

Untitled - 61

Hello to a not so law abiding Skyler, who lies on top of lies on top of lies to get into Walt’s house.

Untitled - 58

Hello to Marie, taking a moment to remove her I don’t want to be here face, and put on her everything is just fine face for Hank.

Untitled - 77

I have to say, re Victor. He was actually beginning to scare me more than any of the other people on the show. Especially in Full Measure, and this episode, his pure anger.. kicking over the chemistry stuff – you know he has just wanted to shoot Jesse since the minute he found him, or beat him up..

Untitled - 51

But wow, that Box Cutter scene.. it is incredibly violent and terrifying. I would have to say out of all the deaths on Breaking Bad so far, this is the one that induces nausea. It is just under 10 minutes in total from the time Gus enters the lab till he leaves.

Untitled - 45

Me personally, I would not be shipping off my bodies in barrels in a truck where you have no control, but then again I am originally from Adelaide, so putting the barrels somewhere safe.. like a bank vault.. seems like a much better plan to me. 😉 oh wait.. maybe not..

So there are many speculations on why Gus did this – what do you think?

Jesse does not like whipped butter on his pancakes – oh noes! That diner scene was filmed in a real Denny’s by the way. The waitress actually works there. Podcast tidbits.

Untitled - 41

A new kind of montage – the investigating the death of Gale montage. And then.. LAB NOTES insert ominous doom tone here..
