Snoskred Notes –
Once again we start out with some of that non-linear storytelling Vince Gilligan talks about. We don’t really know what we are looking at or why we are looking at it, but by the end of the episode all has been made clear to us.
Another fantastic episode where a lot happens. For just Jesse – he fixes things up with the storage guy, gets a new car, gets a new house, cooks some more meth, sets up his friends as dealers, moves some crystal, counts some cash.. and then.. Spooge and his giggling meth skank enter the picture.
Hence, breakage. And this leads us to the next episode “Peekaboo” which is by far one of my all time favourite Breaking Bad episodes – and it scored Aaron Paul an Emmy nomination, as well.
At the same time there is much going on elsewhere, most importantly Hank is having a little meltdown. That scene at the end is intense – we are not sure to begin with – are the bangs Hank is hearing real, or just in his mind?
Another montage to add to our list of montages – Jesse and crew slinging meth – blind dropping, and counting cash.
